"Fran provided service to meet our needs, and we have been very pleased with her creativity, selections, the timeliness ofher deliveries, and her ability to specify the items we needed. "The City of Bellevue commissioned Fran Hazel to design its Mini City Hall in the Crossroads Shopping Center. The project was the first of its kind for Bellevue: A customer service center in a retail location, offering a wide array of community services and information. First among Fran's challenges was to design an outpost that would function as a government office, without looking like one! She was asked to provide us witha fully equipped branch office with a warm, inviting atmosphere and a retail-type pizzazz.
Other major challenges included: the diminutive size of the Mini City Hall (250 square feet); a limited budget allocation; and a tight timeframe (less than 12 weeks for design and construction). Fran managed all of these challenges with calm, professional skill.
The City, the landlord and the contractors found her wonderful to deal with. She was flexible at every turn, open to suggestions, and attentive to details. Even more important, the design that she created is bright, friendly, functional and innovative.. "

"Fran worked with me on giving my kitchen a face lift.
I find her very concerned for my wishes, and very
easy and enjoyable to work with. She works very
hard to incorporate my wishes and suggestions into
my kitchen. She is conscientious of staying within my
budget. I am very pleased with her creative ideas."

I am very pleased with Fran M. Hazel Design Interiors’ work. An initial consultation resulted in a selection of blinds and shades for windows in multiple rooms that complemented each living area’s style and color scheme. On the day of installation, Fran was present to ensure a smooth process. When it was discovered that a shade was manufactured in the wrong color, she corrected that problem promptly.
Based on this positive experience, I contacted her in regards to a more extensive project. A large portion of the house remained builder beige in wall color. In addition, my furniture collection comprised eclectic and mishmash styles. I was delighted with how she skillfully transformed the house into a home. For example, the addition of a bright paint color, mural, and customized hall tree in the laundry and mud rooms made them glow with warmth. The windows were enhanced by the addition of window treatments. New furniture and table lamps were purchased, and a sofa was reupholstered. Accent walls were painted. Wallpaper went up in some rooms. When we discovered a flaw in one of the wallpapers, Fran corrected that problem quickly. Faux painting in the master bedroom and bathroom gave those rooms an entirely new look. Moreover, it was fascinating to watch the existing furniture shift to different rooms. A room that used to feel awkward was now visually pleasing to the eye, not only because color had been added, but also because the furniture layout and style were correct. A new piece of original artwork was purchased to help tie a room together. A redistribution of existing art on the walls further transformed the look of the house.
Fran was exceptionally creative, yet worked within my budget. Plus, she took the time to listen carefully and did not rush through the process. I look forward to continuing to work with her.
